About ECC

The Early Childhood Council of Hillsborough County, Inc. (ECC), the parent agency for Kid Connection Network, has been in existence since 1983. ECC promotes awareness and access to early childhood services and supports for children and families through community collaboration and leadership. ECC is comprised of a broad range of member agencies, families, and individual providers of services to young children and their families, particularly those with or at risk for disabilities and/or developmental delays. It is incorporated as a not-for-profit agency in the State of Florida and is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization. See our brochure.

ECC has been instrumental in establishing and overseeing a number of programs in Hillsborough County:

	Monthly developmental screenings for children from birth to age 5
	Training and support to the child care community to facilitate inclusion of children with special needs
	An annual early childhood conference for professionals and parents
	Professional development
	Community information fairs
	Right on Track ^TMPlay Pavilion, a developmentally appropriate play station for young children

ECC invites you to join the collaborative as a member agency, individual (professional), or parent. ECC meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at the Manhattan Center, located at 4210 W. Bay Villa Ave., Tampa, FL 33611. Visitors are welcome to attend meetings.
